First Week

Our first week home has been great. Its been nice to spend so much time together as a family. Recovering from a c-section limits you to activities but a couple days ago we took a drive up the canyon. The boys had a good time going on a very short hike and playing in the leaves while Blake and I enjoyed the nice warm van.

We could not of survived this week with out Eric. He has cooked, cleaned, done laundry, dishes, brought me meals in bed, taken care of Jack and Kyle 100% of the time with bathing, food, putting in bed, getting up with them in the morning and pretty much anything else you can think of. He is a great Dad and husband.
Jack and Kyle are pretty helpful. They love to take turns holding Blake. As soon as he starts crying they break out into a song to calm him down. When that doesn't work they yell for me and say, "Mommy, I think he needs milk".

The Hospital I delivered at has a steak dinner for you and your husband the last night of your stay.
It was nice to have visitor's in the hospital. My mom and dad,my two sisters Beth and Amanda.Eric's parents also came.My cousins Audrey and Tiffany and my Aunt Debbie. Our good friends the Orr's and the relief society president in my ward.

Kyles 3rd Birthday

Kyle turned 3 today! I told him he could invite 3 friends over for a Birthday lunch. We ate Mac and cheese, played with Balloons, played Duck-Duck goose, had a Pinata, opened presents and ate cake and ice cream.

Kyles Favorites:
Food-Mac and Cheese or Sandwiches
Snack-Granola Bars, deviled eggs,cheese.
Color-Green
Toy-Trucks
Animal-Cats, dogs, horses...everything he is allergic to.
Movie-Cars,How to Train Your Dragon and Caillou.
Past Time-Riding bikes with Jack,Reading books,Nursery,Hiking,Digging in the dirt,Jumping on beds,EATING,Riding 4-wheelers and wearing his Pajama's.
He seriously is so adorable. He plays well with others, hardly ever causes contention, listens good, and just loves being with his family. He definitely doesn't show emotion very often. Even opening his presents today he barely cracked a smile even though I know he was having fun.He is definitely more shy than Jack and when he finds something he likes, he sticks with it. We love this kid. We are excited to see how he is as a big brother.

Pumpkin Patch

For Preschool today we took the kids to a pumpkin patch. They had small wheel barrals for the kids to use and that was a hit. They also had a corn maze for kids. I think they all ran around it about 15-20 times! Besides getting a couple "pumpkin" belly comments from a couple people it was such a fun day.

Weatherman

Everybody always says we get the first snowfall in October. Thank goodness it doesn't stick. But the boys were very excited about it. Also, when we got in the van to run errands today Jack asks me, "Mom, I don't know who the weatherman is. Is it Jesus, Heavenly Father, Joseph Smith or the Prophet? It was so cute.
I love the mountains with snow on them.
2 weeks left. Very exciting.

Courtneys Visit

This is my best friend that I worked with when we lived in California. She came for a visit this weekend. Here are a few of the things we did. It was so fun to have her and we are looking forward to her wedding next year!
Went to the BYU/Utah State football game. Definitly a good one to go to. Exciting win with 11 seconds to go.

She just recently got engaged and asked me to be in her wedding. I took her to try on dresses. So fun!
She had never seen Temple Square so we road the train there on Conference Sunday.
